What are your access hours?

You can reach your unit every day of the week from 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM at either location. At signing you create your own security gate code, so you do not need anyone in the office to let you in during access hours. Our office is staffed Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The office is closed on Sunday.
A climate controlled unit keeps temperature and humidity in a steady, comfortable range year round. In Mobile, where summers are hot and humid, that protection keeps wood from warping, metal from rusting, fabric from growing mildew and electronics from corroding. If you plan to store anything valuable or sensitive, such as furniture, electronics, documents or instruments, climate control is the safe choice. For tools, lawn equipment and items that are not bothered by heat, a non-climate unit is a great value. Not sure which you need? We will help you decide.

Tell us roughly what you are storing and we will recommend a size, confirm availability and walk you through move-in. If a space that fits your needs is open, you can move in any time during normal business hours.
We offer a range of sizes at both locations, from a 5×5 that holds a large closet of boxes and seasonal decor, up to a 10×20 that fits the contents of a multi-bedroom home. Common sizes include 5×5, 5×10, 10×10 and 10×20, in both climate controlled and non-climate options. Sizes and availability vary by location, so call us and we will match you to the right unit.

No. We rent on a simple month-to-month basis unless you ask for something different. There is no long-term lease to sign. When you are ready to move out, you just sign a short move-out form in the office so we know the unit is yours no longer.
Bring a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, state ID or passport. We accept several payment methods, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, personal or business checks, money orders and cash. You can pay in person, over the phone, or by mailing a check.
For everyone’s safety, you cannot store anything liquid, explosive, flammable, toxic or biohazardous, such as gasoline, paint, fireworks or machine oil. Perishables are also off limits, including groceries and dry goods like spices, pet food, bird seed and any edible Mardi Gras throws. If you are unsure about a specific item, just ask and we will let you know.
Yes, at our Beltline location only. We offer both covered and uncovered spaces for RVs, boats, trailers and other vehicles. Our Hwy 90 location does not offer RV or boat storage. Call Beltline at (251) 278-3001 to check size and availability.
Yes to both, at both locations. Knight Owl is an official U-Haul dealer with trucks and trailers available to rent, and we sell boxes, tape and packing materials right in our office so you can grab what you need in one stop. We even have complimentary flatbed dollies you are welcome to use on move-in day. Need a size we do not have on the lot? We can find the right one for you.
We have two locations in Mobile. Knight Owl on Hwy 90 is at 4175 Government Blvd, Mobile, AL 36693, (251) 278-3051. Knight Owl on Beltline is at 1268 W I-65 Service Rd South, Mobile, AL 36609, (251) 278-3001. Both offer climate and non-climate storage, U-Haul rentals and moving supplies. RV and boat storage is available at Beltline only.
